At Wendy's, it appears that rule is taken as a business credo. This link is to a literal explanation of my experience at a Wendy's recently. And the last Wendy's meal I may ever eat. (Haven't eaten at a smelly, slippery, disgusting McDonald's in perhaps three to five years. Almost there with the crappy Burger Kings -- and I live in FLORIDA, where their corporate offices are not even a three-hour drive!)

It appears that not only are the kids lifeless dolts for the most part, but they can't even respect things like non-grease-filled fries and portions that remotely resemble the "LARGE" ordered and paid for. Well, except for the 10-gallon soda cup. That's definitely LARGE.

FAST FOOD IS CRAP, FOR MANY, MANY REASONS - not only because it is cheap and greasy at the best times. THE SYSTEM IS BASICALLY MEANT TO SCREW THE EMPLOYEES, AND THE CUSTOMERS, BY RESULT OF HIRING SEEMINGLY UNEMPLOYABLE PEOPLE to serve customers.
