Writing without loose ends

WRITING and LOOSE ENDS:
You never want to leave readers hanging with anything you DON'T WANT them to be left with. For instance, in the short story Mrs. Blackstone, in my final draft (as of the date of this post), I forgot to resolve the fate of secondary character, Rosie.
What did it take to avoid this needless loose end? It required just one sentence.

Sometimes a secondary character in a story is so unimportant, when you're being a writer and eager to bring closure to the story, that you may fail to give appropriate closure to that secondary character's portion of the storyline. That could leave an aggravating loose end in a story. It might not be an error readers will find irritating, but if nothing else, it is unprofessional. So, try to avoid it. REMEMBER THAT.
