INSPIRED TO COMEDY
I had a life-changing experience over the summer. It inspired me to consider comedy stand-up. My father died.
Not sure how that ties together, on thinking about it later on, but it probably had something to do with losing my job soon after he died. I guess I was confused about comedy and tragedy, which was which.
Come to think of it, I think I was contemplating suicide, and I thought, "Wait a minute. Before I go, I ought to at least give stand-up a try."
I sure hope you guys think I am funny, because the alternative is just ugly.
