TSA considers identity screening, seeks public comment

The Transportation Security Administration is considering switching to a program that would rely on an "intelligence" system that focuses on people identified as security threats. The TSA would rely less on pat-downs and full-body scanners. It is seeking public comment on the plan. "We want to focus our limited resources on higher-risk passengers, while speeding and enhancing the passenger experience at the airport," TSA Administrator John Pistole said.
