Excuse me and this rant, which is about a top of the iceberg story.
Fraud, raunchy behavior, and more, and that's just from the CEO. That is kinda sad. Disgusting, really. But there are plenty who think the company treats everyone well, running parts of it. True?
Tribune has been a company that in some places seems to lack a basic respect for good, solid talent in the ranks. They chase out the talented for the robotic, rote and strange. And -- to great disgust for any company leader or owner who isn't a crook-- they denied deserving people OT pay in 2003, and for years prior, at least in Florida. Bums. Embarrassing leadership, living in a healthy state of denial. I wonder just how broad it reaches in this example of a large company worth investigating and reporting on, for its lack of business ethics and proper handling of its own mishandling of salaries, benefits and employee disputes and retaining.
